Room Requirements
Control Rooms cost between $20,000 to
$millions to set up. Some setup requirements
for a GRADE 1A control room are:
The Building is to be constructed of
near impervious materials [Concrete,
Steel etc] and have fully redundant
backup computer systems in the event
of a system failure.
Uninteruptable Power Supplies backup
up with generators.
Live Camera’s watching all externals
doors, walls, roof spaces and surrounds
Air Filtration System
The Centre themselves must be monitored
by another Grade 1 centre for Holdup,
Duress & Fire Alarms
Sufficient staffing per monitored client
base
Steel Air Lock
Entry – First door must
be closed before second can open, person
must be identified via camera before
access if mechanically granted.
